I'm originally a piano player.. have recently started programming (I'm still in the process of learning). I don't have my own gear, so I'm thinking of getting my demo made at a studio.
I need to hire a keyboard for now, so I'd like to know

1. Will any keyboard do? Where I live there are some lousy ones like the yam psr. I just need it as a controller.

2. can I hook it up to pro tools and

3. Does protools have a lot plugins that I can get sounds from?

Someone please help.. I need to get this demo done asap.. Been sitting on my butt way to long.. I've got to get my **** together. Thank you!

if you're gonna do this at a studio...talk to the studio! about controllers, sounds. they know their setup best, and should help. good luck with that...
