Greetings:

Anyone have suggestions on how to stop Preview from displaying embedded images as negatives (black is white, white is black)?

The PDF works fine on Acrobat, but Preview gives me a little more flexibility with what I want to do with the PDF.

Thanks

It sounds like the images are messed up. That's not something Preview normally does.

I guess the images are not screwed up, considering it works fine with Acrobat.

Could this be a security measure? I find that I can save the pages that I want into a new PDF with Preview, but cannot do this with Acrobat.

Sorry - I can't help you but just wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me. It was only one image though. It happened after I had tried to reduce the size of it. Pretty much the same symptoms.

Is it happening for every document you view or is it only a select few? Do you have the original large versions? Did you try to resize/shrink this image?
