Does anybody know how to manually uninstall McAfee EPO software?

Didn't the uninstaller work for you?

There are a bunch of files related to VirusScan installed…

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.mcafee.virusscan.VirusScanReporter.plist
/Library/StartupItems/VShieldEPOInterface
/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.mcafee.virusscan.VShieldEPOInterface.plist
/Library/NETAepoagt
/Applications/Utilities/ePO
/Library/ApplicationSupport/Virex

and then you may want to do a spotlight search for this:
com.mcafee.virusscan.VShieldEPOInterface

BTW, after being a Virex user for years (mostly cause it came included in the old iTools days) I like Norton AntiVirus better nowadays.

These files are no longer on my system but upon boot up my system is still trying to run the EPO agent for McAfee. I tried to email McAfee but they are not responding to my request.

Reinstall the app. Restart. UNinstall the app. Restart. That should un-clog and un-jam any parts that were accidentally left behind.

And how long as McAfee been "not responding to" your requests? Today? Three weeks? Have you checked their knowledgebase for this problem or one like it?
