Select all of your email and run that?
I haven't tested it but I can't imagine that it wouldn't work.

Hi silverflyer, the simplest thing to do first if you need to is create a folder (Attachment-F) where you want Home-F,
Downloads etc. It's not necessary but helps to know easily were they are put.
Now open Automator & click on custom: then Mail & select "Get Specified Mail Items" (within this select the mailbox you want via "ADD" if it's your main account or further down if within click on the triangle before the mailbox.)

Now select "Get Attachments from Mail Messages" select the desired destination (folder you created) then click on RUN to see if you get the all clear .
Go to menu >File>Save-As Plugin this will give drop-down menu list to chose from select "Finder" & to name the script (Mail attachments).

Ok open Mail>Preferences>Rules then Add Rule, "if Any", "Message Content" - "Contains" (Attachment)
"Run Applescript" then chose the script you named (you'll find it in Home>Library>Workflows>Applications=(name of script) click chose, this brings you back to Mail Preferences click Ok your done.
I, Me, Myself & i'm still alone!

MDC, that worked beautifully, thank you. It took a while though, thousands of messages and 702 attachments!

DarkStarRed, I appreciate all the effort you put into that but honestly, MDCs was much easier, and worked.
