"x" in safari ? Is it Java related?

I tried to log in eTime to update my paychecks using Safari and it wont upload the page. Instead it shows this- see image below.. What's this and how can I trouble shoot this? I also tried to delete com.apple.Safari.plist and it didn't work??

It's a xerox file it should open if you have a PDF plugin.
It's xerox web document management system & is tied now with Adobe since 2008.

I logged on a different account and it showed there without a problem. Then I go back to the first account, it shows "X". I dont get this. I tried to delete plist flie and nothing works? How is that possble since another account works but not this one?

ad blockers, pop-up blockers, java, or javascript turned off in your account? By default Safari in new accounts doesn't have these tampered with.
