So i got a new mbp, old mbp had all my data backed up through time machine and i have access to all those files.

I tried installing the new mbp from my time machine backup but it error halfway through, no worries, still had access to my files.

I tried to copy some of the Address Book prefrences files over to the new mbp but none of them seem to contain the data information.

Is there a place that address book saves all it's content to? if so, where?

Thanks =]

Why was this moved? Address book is an app that's part of Mac OS X, it ships as part of the OS. Why is this moved out of the OS forum into the apps forum? That's just dumb.

You said it yourself: Address Book is an app. The question had nothing to do with the OS itself. Questions about Safari and Mail also belong in the Applications forum because they are apps, not OS's.
