In iCal i have multiple calenders. One is called "work". Is it possible that I can share my "work"-calendar with my girlfriend's iCal, so that she can subscribe to my "work"-calendar?

Use a hosted iCal, like Google Calendar. You can both subscribe to the same calendar.
