I am a lover of iTunes, iPods, iPhones, Movies, TV, Music, the AppleTV, anything and everything related to iTunes. I use smart playlists to auto update new stuff, random videos for watching whenever I want to watch something random, all that good stuff. I have a smart playlist set to only have my HD Movies and TV Shows, and to do this I manually set all my HD movies and TV Shows composer name to HD, and made a smart playlist that only shows movies and tv shows with that composer name. This works, but it's annoying to have to change every movie and tv show in HD, and it'd be much better if iTunes would let smart playlists have HD or SD as a rule. Does anyone know if that is possible, and I'm simply missing it? Or how to make custom rules?

i think... when you make a smart playlist click the plus (+) icon then at the top switch all to any then change all the details so for you change from artist to composer for both and then put HD in the one for the box and then SD (or what ever you call the other vids) and that should work i tested it with to different artists.
