for anyone this might be useful for:

i have been having a horrible time logging in to websites i administer, thru dreamweaver cs4 (and previously, dreamweaver cs3). this has been happening for months. all of this is with one host; sites with other hosts login instantly.

i FIXED this today, simply by changing something in the Site Preferences: changing the FTP timeout to 10 seconds.

and now...EVERY site logs in. just wanted to share this info...
