Hi, I need an app that will disable my keyboard but allow me to continue viewing whatever is on my screen. I have a little munchkin who loves to pound on my MacBook's keyboard which makes for difficult web browsing or whatever when he's with me.

What I DON'T need is an app to lock my keyboard and black out my screen, or lock my desktop... blacking it out or anything else like that. I only mention this because those are the type of apps I found as I was searching for what I needed.

How about using Keyboard Cleaner? It's designed for a different purpose, but it probably does what you want: basically it's an app that knows only one command: Apple + Q for quit. All other keyboard inputs are ignored.
