I'm on a Mac using the latest iChat (5.0) and I have no webcam. My friend is on a PC using the latest AIM (7.0) and she has a webcam. Two-way webcam chat between iChat and AIM has worked for me on another Mac with a cam, but it doesn't appear there's a way for me to receive her webcam video on this Mac without a cam of my own. If you're using iChat and your buddy doesn't have a cam, you can "Invite to One-Way Video Chat," but is there any way for my friend using AIM to invite me to one-way video chat?
For my MSN buddies, I use aMSN, which has the option to "Ask to Receive Webcam" for one-way video. iChat doesn't appear to have this functionality. Can iChat receive one-way video from AIM users at all? Or is there a third-party AIM client similar to aMSN that can do it?
