It seems to me that this issue has been raised before, but regretfully, my search did not resolve my problem. Your tolerance is appreciated.

For years I have been using Dock Changer (theme: Revamped), but now Whimsicaly Plucky Software is out of business, so I am looking for a replacement for Dock Changer; ideally one that automates theme changing.

Suggestions and recommendations most welcome. Thanks!

Candybar can mod the Dock.

If I understand (a big IF) Canybar, it mods the icons.

What I want to do is mod the Dock background with a theme such as found at Leopard Docks: Submit, Download, and Search Custom Leopard Docks - LeopardDocks.com

What I am looking for is an app that "automates" the modification process as Dock Changer did.

CandyBar also customizes the Dock but probably doesn't have as many custom Docks as dedicated Dock customizers do (obviously).
