I have a .cdr file that I need to burn to DVD. Unfortunately it gives me the option of using Disk Utility to burn this and that won't work properly. Are there other programs that will burn a .cdr file to DVD?

CDR of a DVD is a bit weird... try Toast?

IIRC iTunes can open CDRs of CDs.

afaik cdr is the file extension disk utility uses for a read/write image of a CD or DVD source. It should be the same as iso but perhaps it is messed up.

use disk utility to convert it from cdr to another format like compressed (dmg), or use one of these utilities to convert from cdr to iso:
Download AnyToISO for Mac - Create ISO images from many file types. MacUpdate Mac File Management Software Downloads
Download DMGConverter for Mac - Simple and easy to use Disk Image creation and converter. MacUpdate Mac Compression Software Downloads

A ".cdr" may be a CorelDraw file or a CD Image file...if it is in fact a CD image, have you tried Burn, Toast, or any other program to burn it? If none of those work, can you boot into or virtualize Windows or Linux to burn it?
