uninstall jap for firefox and mac ?

hello i installed a program on my apple minimac 80 gb with snow leopard called jap and it also installed on firefox,i cannot understand the program and want to trash it but i cannot find it anywhere in finder to do so,does anyone know how i can get rid of it as i cannot now use firefox.
i was looking for a program to hide my ip address and i tried tor but that did not seem to work,hence me trying jap.

Open up FireFox, then go to the Tools menu, and select Add-ons. Check the Extensions and Plug-ins for that program. If you find it, disable it.

i have trashed firefox and i am using safari so no problems with jap.

If you reinstall FireFox, you'll probably notice that whatever that app is, it's gone.
What the heck is it supposed to do, anyway? Got a link?
