Hi all, for those with a ps3 this topic might seem familiar. Several people have now built small devices that accept ir signals form a universal remote and convert that to bluetooth to control a ps3 (who's native remote is bt).

I just realized that since the mac mini is a popular home theater pc, and it has an ir, and bt, it could be this device with just some simple software. IR goes into the mac mini and the app converts and sends out the appropriate bt command - just as those little converter boxes do now.

Has anyone seen such software?

Thanks!

Nice idea, but I just got an IR USB stick for my PS3. Much simpler and cheaper solution.
