I have Aperture version 2.1.4 and a Canon 7D with the latest firmware. Aperture handles full size RAW files from the 7D without problem. But medium RAW files don't work. Aperture says it is an "unsupported format."

Is there a way around this I'm not aware of?

Or is it something Apple and/or Canon need to fix?

Aperture doesn't support any of the Canon SRAW format files. You'll need to process them with either Canon's software or Adobe Camera Raw.
