I have 2 “empty” keychains that I think I should delete, but I really don’t know if it is wise to do so.

1. The first keychain is “PrivateEncryptedDatak”. Within that (in the right window) was Adobe.APS. A bit of Googleing indicated that this was related to Adobe Air and was safe to delete. The “file” (right window) is now gone, but the PrivateEncryptedDatak keychain (left window) remains. Is that safe to delete or should it be saved?
2. Likewise, I have an apparently empty Keychain called “Microsoft_Intermediate_Certificates”. Can/should that keychain also be removed?

FWIW: Both of these Keychains are locked and will not accept my password as the others do (Login, “short name” and System).

Your thoughts, suggestions and musings most welcome. Indeed I am confused.

You can delete them. The second one is related to Entourage, I believe.

Many thanks for the prompt reply. Both keychains successfully deleted.

And all is again, right with the world!
