I am having a major issue with iWeb. It will not open .html files. I used iWeb on another Macbook to create the website, but now iWeb will not allow me to open it on another website. Any ideas?

iWeb doesn't open HTML files. You have to edit the original iWeb project.

I didn't say you "change the files to iWeb." I said you edit the original project (or remake it).

Hmm...okay my bad.
Well how do I properly get those files from my original macbook where I created the project?
I simply just saved the project onto a flash drive.

Dreamweaver is an html editor. It will open your .html file just fine. No need for iWeb at all. iWebs major weakness is that it is NOT an html editor. It creates websites in its own format and then generates the html at the end when you export it. Dreamweaver generated the html as it goes along.
You can't open the domain.sites2 file either. You need to copy it into place on your new Mac, which will over write the original one if you have any iWeb projects on that so you should make a copy of the domains file on your Mac and then replace it with the one from your other Mac. If you have a newer version of iWeb on the other Mac you will need to update iWeb on your current Mac in order for it to work.

You have the domain.sites2 file so use iWeb. Did you put it in ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/? It's got to go in the same place as where you got it from on the other Mac.

Then create the iWeb folder in ~/Library/Application Support/ and copy the domain file there. iWeb requires the file to be there. That's all you have to do to make it work.

Didn't work. This is literally what I did.
- Went into the Library
- Application Support
- Created a new folder named "iWeb"
- Dragged the file that I had copied from the old computer onto a flash drive into the iWeb folder

You did this in the Home folder right? Not in the root of the hard drive?

There are no trials of iLife. You're SOL unless you upgrade.
