Does someone know of a good firewall application that can run on Tiger? A free one would really be useful.
Thank you

The built-in firewall in Tiger is found in the Sharing pane of System Preferences.

Yes, but I want to configure it so it can not access some sites or IP's, as far as I know with that I can only close ports.

The built-in firewall is extremely powerful and has been used on FreeBSD for years. OS X' interface, though, gives you access to a tiny subset of all the functions. You need (free) software like Waterroof which gives you access to all the options OS X' built-in firewall allows for.

Do you have a router? You can block sites and IPs at the router.

In case you want to Google to learn more about the built in firewall, it is "ipfw". Both the OS X GUI and likely Waterroof just generate ipfw rule syntax and apply this for you.

The OS X GUI Firewall is not ipfw in 10.5 or 10.6, it is "appfirewall" which is of Apple's design, although, ipfw is still included.
