I am writing to report a strange phenomenon.
I use Google Calendar to sync my stuff. But I read it in iCal on both my home and work computers. So I have iCal set up to sync with one Google Calendar with 7 delegate calendars. (For various work related reasons, it makes sense for me to have separate calendars for different groups of people.)
The question is why does Apple Mail have a "hiccup" every time I open iCal and it subsequently syncs with Google Calendar? (These app's should be completely separated, right?)
None-the-less, on both my home and work computer, whenever I open iCal all the messages in my inbox disappear for 20 or so seconds.
This may be related to the fact that I check my gmail using IMAP in Apple Mail...
Any insights?
