a friend was raving about the adobe air apps. anyone using air? just wondering what people thought of it, whether it's even necessary (outside of the idea of accessing flash on an iphone eventually)...
thoughts?

It was pushed onto my Mac with some update to something, but I never used. It's basically Flash, and I don't like Flash.

If you have Adobe Reader then you have AIR installed too.
It is included in every Reader install, even the update patchers.
It does provide an uninstaller in /Applications/Utilities
But it will come back after every Reader update...
