I use AppZapper and CrossOver Games once in a while. Except for Pixelmator and GraphicConverter, the rest of the applications I haven't heard of.

Count me in. I like free stuff. I would love to get Undercover.

Question:
Why only 2 winners and so many apps ?

Why not 5 and make the bundles smaller ?

I thought about that afterwards but already started the contest. When I put out the call for sponsors I figured maybe 10 would come back saying yes. It was 15 the day I was putting it all together and last second had a few more the todays.

Edit: ...... NM ... good point, I'm going to split it up more so that there can be a few more winners. Will try and work out the groups now. Thanks for the suggestion "turtle777"

carterx that would be a shame to split the apps up into smaller groups. But the decision is yours none the less.

I would give a left leg for the current 1st or 2nd place groups. Between tuition fees for schools and taxes there would be no way for me to afford 2 of those nice apps.

My favourite app would be Little Snitch or Virus Barrier X6, neither of which are in my meager price range

Thank you for this great contest carterx !!

What does everyone think. Either keep the two groups as is or.... go with six winners.

With six winners it would workout like this. At the time of the draw I'll name the 6 winners. Running from 1st-6th they pick which apps they want out of the ones that are left. This way there are more winners?

1st - wins 6 apps
2nd - wins 5 apps
3rd - wins 4 apps
4th - wins 3 apps
5th - wins 2 apps
6th - wins 2 apps

Your thoughts?

I never heard of Flux but it seems to be quite a simple (powerful html) web builder just wondering if anyone here has used it?

Oh, why not. I've already got a bunch of those, but there are a few things I wouldn't mind having on that list, particularly Data Rescue 3.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Great collection. Little Snitch, Pixelmator, Flux and Billings all want to live with me.

And chocolate milk used to be my favorite drink.

Well, there are a few things on that list I’ve been thinking about trying. I try to launch GraphicConverter now and then, only to remember that it was bundled with my old iMac, and I never used Migration Assistant to get apps off it. And I’ve been thinking about getting Undercover or something like it for a while. So consider me entered!

this is a posting that pretends to be constructive even though it’s really just a stab at the free apps.

"pretends to be constructive" .... ?

The goal of the site is to list off free mac apps and with this I have gone out, found "pay for apps" to give away for free.
