Hello there,

I am trying to setup a site where the researcher and students can interact with each in other for ideas and work. I was looking at a blog (that has multiple authors), twitter feeds and a file management system for papers etc.

I have been looking and asking around for ever and i would really appreciate if i can get any feedback.
thanks

Adam

You could setup multiple wikis, but why not just different pages on a single wiki for each researcher? A wiki can be as deep or as shallow as you want, there is no structure to it other than what is defined by its users, it sounds perfect for this purpose.

I personally use Mediawiki, it's the same (free) Wiki software used by the Wikipedia. It allows you to upload attachments and support all sorts of stuff.
