I did a quick search but did not come up with anything. Does anyone know a good video converter that utilizes that quad core iMac (i5)? In the past I have used Visual Hub and Handbrake. Most of the video I am converting is going into Apple TV format along with some 1080 video. thanks for your help!

Handbrake scales well to 4+ cores if you're using x264 for H.264 encoding; ffmpeg MPEG4 encoding typically only scales to about 3.
