IN firefox, this browser does not seem to have search completion I love for searches.
You know, when in Safari, you type a search terms and a drop down comes up and completes it. Not based on their guess, but based on your past searches.
in others words, I type in
Shoes in --- Safari or Chrome -- starts to fill in the rest based on what it remembers my searches were.
This is different than the "provide query" suggestion which I hate.
Firefox, unlike Safari or Chrome, does not remember peoples searches and help fill it it?

(shoes in foo, shoes in for, shoes in four were 3 previous searches by me for the purpose of this thread)

I dont get it.
Of 4 browsers I'm using, Safari and Chrome are working fine for this issue.
Firefox and Netscape are not remembering anything I type.

If you pull down the list of search engines in the search bar, then click "Manage Search Engines", then check the checkbox "Show search suggestions", that should give the list of suggestions.

that is checked for Google yet nothing happens when I type!
