Hi,
Looking for a kind soul or two who can help me with some specific troubleshooting for Soundtrack Pro (v3.0.1). I'm not a pro editor but am fairly proficient and am learning as I go, editing a weekly podcast. Here are a few quick questions:

- When I have a sound clip on, say, track 1, use the razorblade tool to delete an unwanted portion of it, and snap the remaining pieces together, what happens if I use an effect/filter on the left part of that clip? Does it also get applied to the right portion, and does it matter which effect I use? For instance, 'remove noise' seems to affect the entire clip (including the parts I cut out), but 'compressor' seems to work only on the chunk that I select.

- Specifically, if I wanted to use the EQ on an entire track to bring down the bass, would I have to apply it to each individual chunk?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I'm sure I'll have more as time goes on. Thanks a lot.
