My MacBook Air, OS 10.6.4, was in for repair. Instead of repairing, a new one was given. The old hard drive was copied to the new hard drive. On the new machine, TeXShop does not work. When processing a LaTeX file I get the message:
Code:
warning: Configuration file texmf.cnf not found! Searched these directories:
/usr/texbin:/usr:/:/usr/texbin/share/texmf-local/web2c:/usr/share/texmf-local/web2c://share/texmf-local/web2c:/usr/texbin/texmf-local/web2c:/usr/texmf-local/web2c://texmf-local/web2c:/usr/texbin/share/texmf/web2c:/usr/share/texmf/web2c://share/texmf/web2c:/usr/texbin/texmf/web2c:/usr/texmf/web2c://texmf/web2c:/.:/usr/local/Build/i386/TeXLive.2006/texmf/web2c:/usr/local/Build/i386/TeXLive.2006/texmf/web2c
Trying to proceed...
etc., etc. What should I do. Should I deinstall TeXShop and reinstall it from the web, or is there a simpler way to proceed? Thank you.
