I'm at work, on a pc, with no access to a Mac. I received a .pages file from a client and would like to know if there is any way to convert it to a Word format without using a Mac.

If I had my Mac I could simply export it in MS Word format, but alas, I have no Mac here.

I found this converter, though you'll have to use it at your own risk as I don't have Pages.

Why not ask the writer to resave as .rtf or .doc?

I found this tip in an old MacRumors discussion-they recommend using WinZip to open the .pages file, which should allow you to view/use the content in PDF... Dunno if that's still viable, as this discussion was in 2006.

But have you thought of using iWork.com? The online service/system is supposed to be "Mac friendly, iPad friendly, PC friendly, just plain friendly."
