Ive started to use Tranmission 2.0 for some uploads

when one clicks on the actual torrent being uploaded a second window opens:

sort of an info window with many choices

one is torrent inspector. that window just to the left of the % uploaded to each Mooch is an unlabeled column that sometimes has a padlock in it

what does that mean?

and is there a way to keep that window open when tranmission is not the program in the finder thats 'open' the queue stays open but Id like to keep both windows open if possible

many thanks!

The lock means encrypted peer.

I don't know about the inspector window. You could always minimize the main window to the dock, which leaves the inspector open.

nope

minimizing the main window doesnet change anything: the main window has to be 'active' to see the peer % upload

Are you hiding the app? That'll definitely hide the Inspector window. But I can bring up the Inspector, then hit the main window's yellow button to shrink it to the Dock. Inspector stays open.

I'm running Transmission 2.11 and OS X 10.6.4.
