My photos are on a Macbook Pro, Snow Leopard, iLife 8. They are organized by date ( in the information box). I am trying to "copy" them to a PG4, Tiger, iLife 6. I have successfully done that via DVD, but the photos are not in sequence but are apparently arranged in the order I last accessed them. This is not helpful. I have 5000 photos. How can I transfer them according to their correct date? This data apparently does not come over.

I have named my photos starting with a number so that the photos in any given directory are always arranged in order. They are arranged in order of filename. That works very well for me.
