Just purchased a Mac. Have used Quicken for windows for years. What is a good financial software Mac-want to use check register, print checks, add categories for charity and taxes and at end of year get a report for tax deductible charity, taxes, etc. Also, any suggestions on a good greeting card software would be appreciated.

Quicken for Mac was completely rewritten with the newest version and is supposed to be much much better than previous versions.

That being said, I haven't used it myself. Have you considered using Quicken online or something, rather than client software?

As far as greeting card software goes, Pages has excellent built-in templates and such for creating cards and posters and whatever else you want. It's part of the iWork suite from Apple.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...

Have a look at this thread: http://forums.macnn.com/82/applicati...jumsoft-money/

If I was you, I'd get Parallels for Mac or VMWare Fusion and stick with Quicken for Windows for now.
The new Quicken Essentials for Mac is extremely underpowered in many ways.
Reports on Quicken for MAc have always sucked, you were not able to customize them in any meaningful way.

Check out The Print Shop for greeting cards, envelops and labels.
