I have digitized several movies with HandBrake, and they reside in my iTunes library. How do I take small snippets, say 15 seconds or so and put them into an iMovie project?

Why can't you import the movies into iMovie?

I'd suggest reripping just the portion of the movies you want from the original source in HandBrake with stupid high quality settings (CRF10 or something) and all-intra encoding (more editing friendly).

Unfortunately I don't have the original sources. And I don't want to import the entire movie. Maybe I will have to change sources.

Thanks . . .

QuickTime X is free and good at simple trimming of clips. How are they encoded (may need to install Perian so QT can open them).
