I have tried a number of things, but there are times when I try and print the page of a Fedex shipping label and the wheel will spin, sometimes for like-3minutes?! The app, 'Pages' seem to print reasonably fast but Safari is a problem... Perhaps you know a cure? Thanks.

Not a solution as it seems you're able to do it within Pages but you could download the (14 days) trial of ReadyShipper, it seems to be compatible with FedEx.

Thanks Angel, maybe the Fedex label wasn't a good example .. it was only one where I didn't dare 'Force Quit' Safari. If I went to print any open, Safari page, I get a protracted delay. I used Pages, as example, of something the prints quickly.. I have been a Fedex shipper for years and will stick with this process. Thanks again.

Is this something new, or has it always been that way with previous versions? If the former, re-install Safari. If the latter, we'd need more info, such as plugins, amount of RAM etc. Have you tried Camino or Firefox?

Thanks jm.. I'll load Camino. I use Firefox as my Gmail browser only. Opera and Chrome are just too much to fool with. This iMac is a standard, 27" i5. Thanks again.

I loaded Camino. It prints in an instant... I'll move some of my bookmarks to this browser. Thanks.
