Hi everyone,
I am new to all of this and I just wanted some help in transfering some music I have written on my synthesizer to my Apple Imac and the Garageband application.
I managed to do this successfully a few years back but Im trying to do it again and I am having problems with it as even though I have an audio cable running from my synthesizer to the Apple Imac I cannot hear the songs playing on Garageband.
What could I be doing wrong? And why cant I hear the songs I have playing on my synthesizer in Garageband? The volume seems to be working perfectly on the Apple Imac and it just seems to be a problem with the songs on my synthesizer having no sound on Garageband.
What I am trying to do is to record the songs I have written on my synthesizer on Garageband as a real instrument track and then sing over the musical backing track that has been imported in.
Any help will be greatfully received.
