cant change genre on itunes, help!

hello everyone, so this is my problem, i have 2 different bands on itunes, one of them is classified as Classic rock and the other one classic rock, without capital letter, and when i transfer them to y ipod they appear as 2 different genres, it might seem unimportant, but to me its important, if anyone can help me id appreciate it. PS: i already tried changing it individually and using ctrl+i, and nothing works. Thank you.

What exactly happens when you change the info via Ctrl-i?

I assume this is on Windows, which this forum doesn't really deal with - you might be better off asking on Apple's support communities.
