Over at the Apple forums, there is a vigorous yet ignored thread on people using iTunes to Homeshare with Apple TV 2. Homesharing keeps dropping out while playing music and movies. Anyone else out there using Homesharing? Any solutions out there?
It's as simple as checking "Share library on local network" then picking which playlists. On the other computer(s) you'd check "Show...Shared Libraries". What specifically are you needing?
Various people (including me) are trying to access music, movies, etc., on their ATV2 using Homesharing, and are constantly experiencing "dropouts" where the ATV2 says there is nothing in the library, or they'll be sent back to the main menu, etc.
