iTunes keeps telling me that my billing address is entered incorrectly, and demands that I correct it before I can do anything with the iTunes Store, even update apps. But the address is fine, I checked it a dozen times. The credit card, security code, everything, it all matches up. But it still tells me there's a problem, so my account is basically frozen.
A few weeks ago I registered a new billing address and credit card with my account to make a large purchase from the Apple store, but I changed everything back, and have successfully made app store purchases since then.

A search for this problem turned up nothing, so I'm just wondering if anyone here has ever had a similar issue. Thanks, here's hoping I can start updating my apps again soon!

Can you just switch to a different card? Perhaps there's just a temporary bug with Apple's back-end that's screwing up your account.

I'd like to, but my only other card is Japanese, with an address in Japan (where I live), so changing to that would make me unable to access the US iTunes store anymore. Thanks for the suggestion though.
This problem has been going on for 3-4 days now...I've tried logging in and out, and tried logging in on my iPhone too.

Can't you temporarily put in a different card (the Japanese card), delete the messed up card from your account, re-add the original card, and then delete the Japanese card?

Steve

Edit: Nevermind. For some reason I thought this was Amazon where you can add multiple cards. iTunes only allows one at a time.
