Hey,

Just was wondering if itunes had an ablility to read barcodes from cd's and dvd's bought.... and if so, does it include meta-data as well?

would make importing them a whole lot easier

Barcodes? No. iTunes can ask the CD database for track information. What info do you need?

just wanted to get all my bought dvd's into a digital library, and was thinking that a barcode would provide proof of purchase, and would gather the metadata for the movies i have... making it a more complete digital library. If it isn't able to be done this simply, thats cool...
i have already imported a few using handbrake and metaX... if this is the best i can do for it, then i guess it'll do...

The only app that can do that is Delicious Library.
But it's really only a glorified list of items, not a *mdeai* library.
