I'm hoping someone here has used Plex and might have a suggestion. Their support forum is dead and less than useless.

I've ripped my DVDs to .ISOs and I have a problem where Plex will cut out prematurely when there are 10 to 15 seconds left of the credits in a movie. If there is additional content after the credits (such as the wedding scene from Napoleon Dynamite) you never get to see it.

Oddly enough, if I'm playing a TV show such as Firefly, instead of just cutting off the show, the last 15 seconds of the show is muted. There's no sound.

All my .ISOs play fine when using Apple's DVD Player or through Front Row. Actually, I'd use Front Row if it natively supported .ISOs, but it doesn't.

I searched the Plex support forum and found several other people with the same problem, but no solution was offered. I asked on the Plex forum and my question went ignored for a whole week, so I've given up on the Plex forum.

I've also tried XBMC, but it's even worse than Plex. I was going to try Boxee when I realized it's just XBMC. It seems like have the solutions to XBMC are hacks, scripts, and code modification. I don't want to deal with that crap.

I never used ISOs but I found VIDEO_TS folders to be extremely unreliable as well. I just do everything as an MKV now.

I wanted all the extras, which is why I made ISOs.

sorry, I don't use any ISOs in plex. I've only ever played mkv/avi/mpg in plex and have had zero problems. I would have suggested VIDEO_TS folders but Art seems to poo-poo on that idea. probably wouldn't hurt to try if you're really hurtin' to see Lafawndah's wedding dress.
