I am new here. If I post on the wrong section, please correct me.

I work for a TV station and my main job is to deal with different videos. I bought FCP X the moment it was published. It’s a pretty good product. But when I tried to use it in my job, I find that I really need perfect software to solve the format problem with high quality. Who can give a recommendation?

I suppose your friend will be right along to make a suggestion for "Magic any-to-any video converter with pixie dust" any moment now...

Do you WORK AT a TV station, or ARE you the entire "tv station"?

Ask your cutters, and they will probably recommend Final Cut Pro 7 as the perfect software to solve the format problem with high quality.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
