my fairly new iMac keeps showing me 'eject disc' warnings when i have no disc or even touched the mac
its driving me crazy!
i have tried setting the energy saver button to never (after a google scan) with no difference
anyone help?

Is it showing you the eject icon on your screen or an actual popup with text?

Do you have any USB or other external disks connected when it gives these warnings? Maybe the connection is loose and it keeps disconnecting.
