problem printing from Outlook 2011

We are using Outlook 2011 on Snow Leopard. We upgraded from the last version of Entourage.

There are a number of problems.... Emails coming from people in Contacts do not get categorized based on the contact's category. MS Support agreed that was a known bug and had no idea when, or if, it would be fixed.

Recently we found that we cannot print emails properly. All that prints is the header information. The body of the email is missing. Other app's have no problem printing.

Any suggestions on fixing the printing problem would be appreciated.

In the print dialog, click Show Details and make sure you don't have any options checked or unchecked that would affect output. You'll see it change in the preview section as you make or deselect each option.

What happens if instead of printing you save as pdf?

Yeah, I did check and uncheck all the available options but it made no difference.

And the behavior is the same regardless of the target printer (I have 3 networked printers). And it does the same thing if I try to print to a PDF.

The print preview is "correct" in that it also shows the body of the email to be blank.

The same email cc'd to my Win7 PC and opened in Thunderbird prints without problem.

This is not a horrible problem (I can forward/print to other machines and I can cut/paste into MS Word and print) but it is irritating.
