I'm looking for some mapping software that allows me to map data and visually see it in a geographic area. For example if I have a bunch of addresses of Taco Bells, I'd like to see how they spread out around California.

I used to use a program called BusinessMaps on Windows, but I'm looking for something that works on a Mac. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Google Maps w/ Batch Geo allows this with the methods described in the link (I used it to map out about 25 addresses). Alternately, a GIS program may help but those are very complicated. How about Google Earth and a bunch of push pins or is that too simple?

Thanks for the reply. That seems interesting. I found Cartographica and Magic Maps.

I'd say the option you listed is the most simple, then Magic Maps, then Cartographica. Thanks for the info, it's useful and I appreciate it.
