I've looked everywhere and can't find anyone commenting/complaining about the following:
When you scale anything in Office 2011, if it contains a font, the font doesn't scale!!!!!
Absolutely fatal examples:
1) Create a chart in Excel. Grab the corner and stretch or shrink the Chart area. The chart changes size but the text doesn't!! This renders Excel nearly useless for many people I'm sure.
2) Put together a graphic with some shape and text elements in it. Group the elements and pull or push the corners to scale the whole thing to fit a certain area on the page. This the sort of thing you would naturally do if preparing a brochure. And also the sort of thing that Word seems to pride itself on in all of its ads. But, the shapes will change size but the text doesn't!!!
I wonder if the same thing happens in MS Word 2010 for Windows or is it peculiar to 2011? Does anyone know?
