I'm full of iPhoto issues today! Probably because I'm taking lots of pics of my new baby!

Anyway, iPhoto '11 seems to keep displaying devices I've ejected. I had put in an SD card named NO NAME from my camera, and it keeps appearing even when I quit and restart iPhoto without the card in. It's also showing multiple copies of my iPod Touch with all the thumbnails shown as dashed squares. Why are these ghost devices appearing in iPhoto and how do I get rid of them.

Steve

P.S. I noticed that the NO NAME SD card is also stuck appearing in Image Capture, if that means anything.

Ejecting the NO NAMEs with the little eject button doesn't work. If I right-click them, I can select Eject or Unmount and it gets rid of them.

I haven't had a chance to try rebooting my machine yet, but this is really weird.

No. Not unless, of course, I've actually plugged in the SD card. Then that might add another ghost to iPhoto.

I've just come across this thread when googling for a solution to the same problem. I cannot eject the "ghost" SD card with by clicking the eject icon, but if I right click the name and select Eject, it will disappear, only to reappear when I restart iPhoto. I'll be checking back here to see if you figure it out!
