Quicktime 10.1 capture still frame?

Is there a way to capture a still frame from a video and export it as an image with Quicktime 10.1? This is a little backward.

Right now I just play videos in full screen and use cmd+shift+4 to capture them. Do I lose quality this way? If so, what are the other options? Thanks!
