i have the troublesome mackeeper

i am trying to deinstall mackeeper - i find it useless.
but i am left with a small blank screen headed 'uninstall mackeeper' that you can only get to go all screen only
how can i get RID of this pesky piece of 'software'?
all help much appreciated

Restart then uninstall again. Do you see any remnants of MacKeeper in the Applications folder?

It's a system maintenance/anti-virus suite of highly-questionable value, the makers of which rely on fairly shady, spam-ish marketing to get you to install, including Windows-ish web pop-ups of the "Your computer may be infected" ilk.
