Does MAC SKYPE interact well with PC systems?

I would like to use my iMac for this type of communication.

Not sure about MAC SKYPE, but Skype on the Mac interacts seamlessly with Skype on all platforms (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).

Yes, works great. Best method of voice/video calls between Mac, Windows and linux, iOS in my opinion.

No. Skype anticipated that months ago by completely crapping on their UI. it's probably what attracted Microsoft to begin with.
