I upgraded itunes to 10.5.2 on a g5. It sucks. How do I degrade to former version or should I just appdelete it? I've got my music on a separate HD. I can't control the volume at all. Can't get album info. Itunes moves my music to a music folder inside my music folder. I delete it, it adds it back. I messed with the preferences, but it doesn't help. Has anyone else given up on iTunes on powermacs? I'm about to. How do you get info for a whole album to change volume or anything else? On earlier versions you could highlight the album and get info with the keyboard, but no longer will it let you do that ( at least I haven't figured out how ). On 10.5.2, I can't access albums at all. Can someone tell me how? Thanks.

I always keep old versions of software I rely on so if this happens I can downgrade... Uncheck "Keep iTunes Media folder Organized" or maybe uncheck "Copy files to iTunes Media Folder when Adding to Library" (I forget which) but try unchecking both and see if it helps...if it does you may want to check the top option and see if it still works as you like.

I was going to complain about the lack of nested Smart Playlists in iTunes 10 but I just found out how to make nested playlists: hold the Option key while right-clicking the + icon next to an item in the dialog box. I've been missing this in iTunes 10.
