Basically, every now and then I copy the 700mb contents of my documents folder to email for 3rd line backup.

I do this manually, adding folders up to 20mb into a 20mb .dmg I have created, for emailing to a web email, password protected.

This does take a while.

I've done a search, and cannot find specifically what I want.

What I am looking for, is an app or whatever, that will take a 700mb folder, with many subfolders, and split it into equal 20mb folders, all .dmg / .zip, and password protected.

Can anyone help please.

I've tried several folder splitters I have found, none does specifically what I want.

Tried: Stuffit, BMFG, Split & Concat, Folder Splitter, Disk Utility, Toast 10 and various Toast 10 Apps.

I used to use a good one in WIndows many years ago, but can't remember it's name, as a guide.

Note: All my personal information and data files are password protected , Excel, Word, PDF's etc

adnX - xtwin4mac

Been using it for years. It's almost perfect.

It's fully versioned (like TimeMachine), and handles changes intelligently (only changed data is transmitted).
